Not all "documents" we scan are loose papers that sit flatly on a table. Many users are probably like myself in that we scan our journals, which can often times have awkward shapes.
Apple Notes' Document Scanner should be able to account for such awkward shapes, making the document scanning pipeline even more seamless.
