Sync Notifications Across All Devices

Notifications are the highest level of psychological influence our devices have over us. It's what prompts us to engage with something hidden away, whether in an app or a website.

When I'm working on my MacBook, it's not uncommon for me surrounded by other devices; taking handwritten notes on my iPad, iPhone nearby, and my Apple Watch buzzing about if I'm not in Do Not Disturb mode.

Given that my attention is focused on the biggest screen, I'd like to be able to manage all of my notifications from that one device, as if it were a central command center.

Perhaps at the top of the notification center there could be device icons, one for each of my notification-receiving devices.

The user could click each device to toggle its notifications on/off in the central notification column. That is, having all devices selected would populate all notifications, and turning all but one would focus that one device.

This central command could also be used to manage notification settings across all devices, ensuring that there's a harmony between the devices; for example, a very personal and invasive devices (let's say, one attached to your wrist at all times) could have its notifications more strictly configured, while the other

Whisperings of this already exist when it comes to Device Handoff, where an incoming phone call on your iPhone appears as a notification on your mac. Unfortunately, that seems to be only for System-level notifications, as my Signal notifications double-up on my Mac and my Phone, requiring me to dismiss them in both places.
